The Viola Desmond Community Talks Series is another initiative of Delmore “Buddy” Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI) which advances our purpose and aspiration to create educational change, provide opportunities for individual and community successes launched on November 8, 2020 – the same date Ms. Desmond was wrongfully arrested in New Glasgow.
Episode 2 recognizes how her business achievements inspired a local African Nova Scotian business woman, and features some of the people responsible for her free pardon.
