The Delmore Buddy Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI) has a 10-year legacy, originating from the Black Learners Advisory Committee (BLAC)’s recommendations in 1994, evolving into an independent body in 2012, and celebrating its milestone in 2022. In November of 2022, we held our recognition/celebration event, marking 10 years in the legacy of the DBDLI.

The DBDLI 10th Anniversary Legacy Bursary is a one-time offering in recognition of our 10th anniversary which was marked in November 2022.

- One personal testimony on the role and impact of Ubuntu in your life and community
- One reference letter:
- You must provide one letter from any of the categories listed below:
- Community member (volunteer organization, community leader, etc.)
- Student Support Worker
- Educator in your Regional Centre
- Instructor/professor
- Black Student Advising Office
- Your reference letter must contain the referee’s contact information.
