Lindsay Ruck

Lindsay oversees the publishing wing of the DBDLI, along with special projects pertaining to e-learning and innovative educational resources. Lindsay seeks out new stories, writers, and illustrators to grow DBDLI’s Africentric publishing program. This includes working with and nurturing emerging and established writers through workshops, mentorship, and project collaborations. Lindsay is also responsible for the sales and marketing of current titles and resources published by the Institute.

Lindsay is an author of a number of non-fiction books for adults and younger readers. With a degree in journalism, Lindsay also spent time in the media, communications, and marketing fields.

Lindsay is excited to develop Africentric reading materials and resources that will educate, inspire, challenge, and entertain.
