This report highlights DBDLI’s Culturally Affirming Mentor Development Series, designed by DBDLI’s Research Team to support mentors working with African Nova Scotian high school learners in the Bringing STEM to Life W-IL Physics Program. Grounded in Africentric principles, the series blends cultural learning, reflection, and community engagement to strengthen mentorship practices and foster belonging in STEM spaces.
